Overview
Chair: Dr Annick Lenglet, Dr Alma Tostmann
Details
This hands-on workshop gives participants practical guidance in how to approach an intervention and implementation research project on an AMS and/or IPC problem in their healthcare facility. Participants who complete this workshop are expected to learn how intervention and implementation research function together in AMR mitigation efforts, with a special focus on AMS and IPC. They will understand and practice the steps required to define projects for implementation research using a concrete real-life scenario. And they will discuss how evidence that is generated from these research projects can be translated into policy. The workshop will be facilitated by Dr Alma Tostman from Radboudumc with a strong background in quality improvement and implementation research focusing on IPC and Dr Annick Lenglet from ICARS who supports multiple intervention and implementation research projects globally on AMS and IPC.
