Abstract
Mentorship has been key in the growth of cancer research on the continent. In addition, mentorship also provides an opportunity to nurture the professional and career development of early career researchers.
This presentation is a compliation of reflections on the role that mentorship has had on the authors career progression as well as the opportunities that are available to leverage mentorship relationships to advance research on the African Continent.
